How We Handle
Your Information.

Riad & Routes is a luxury Morocco concierge company based in Marrakech. This page explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect when you contact us or use our website, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

We wrote this ourselves. It is short on purpose.

What we collect

When you fill in our contact form, subscribe to the R&R Journal, or write to us directly, we receive :

• Your name and email address
• Any details you choose to share about your travel plans (dates, group size, interests, budget indications)
• The content of your messages

When you browse the site, our host (Netlify) automatically records standard technical information — IP address, browser type, pages visited — for the sole purpose of keeping the site running and secure. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that profile you.

What we do with it

• We reply to your enquiries and, if you become a client, we design and coordinate your journey
• We send you the R&R Journal newsletter only if you subscribed — you can unsubscribe from every email
• We keep records of past bookings for our own operational memory (guides preferences, favourite riads, dietary notes)

We never sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with anyone outside our small team, except where necessary to arrange a specific service you have booked (a driver, a riad, a private chef) — and only the strictly needed information (your first name, group size, dates).

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the conversation is active. Client files are kept for the duration of our working relationship, plus five years for accounting and reference. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe or ask to be removed.

Your rights

You can, at any time, ask us to :

• Show you the information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information from our records
• Unsubscribe from any communication

Write to hello@riadandroutes.com with the subject line « Privacy » and we will action your request within seven days.

Where your data lives

Our website is hosted on Netlify (United States and European Union edge network). Our email is hosted on Zoho Mail (European Union). Our contact database sits inside Notion (United States). All three providers are contractually bound to standard data protection commitments.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary technical cookies to keep the site working. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics that follow you around the web.

Changes to this page

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the « last updated » line above. Subscribers to the R&R Journal will be notified in the next issue.
